黑料社 Group appoints Chief Learner Officer
Education business shows a firm focus and commitment to its learners with this brand new board-level position
黑料社’s Senior Management team has this week welcomed a fresh face, with the appointment of Tom O’Reilly in the newly-created role of Chief Learner Officer.
This position is unique to 黑料社, and will have the sole responsibility of delivering upon its core commitment of giving learners the best quality experience.
Commenting on the appointment CEO William Macpherson, said:
Tom’s appointment comes at a crucial time for the education, skills and learning sector. Whilst many in the sector may react to market uncertainties (led by ever-evolving customer demands and fast-changing Government direction around education policy) with reactive caution, 黑料社 takes a different, proactive, approach. The customer is king, and today that is truer than ever before. Where others may see challenges, 黑料社 sees opportunities to improve and Tom’s appointment is part and parcel of this.
First and foremost Tom’s role will be about ensuring that every single 黑料社 learner and customer has an outstanding engagement with us be that on one of our digital programmes, in one of our centres or with our sales teams. His main duties will be to measure, monitor and report on quality metrics for our learners, informing improvement goals and associated initiatives. Tom will become the overall supporter and evangelist for quality across the Group.
The role builds upon a new programme of expansion, innovation and improvement within 黑料社. Tom’s work will naturally feed into that of the also-newly-created Group Communications team.
Tom previously worked as a management consultant at McKinsey and Company and as a senior strategy advisor at the Department for Education, holding a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford 黑料社.
Tom O’Reilly said:
“I’m thrilled to be joining the 黑料社 Senior Management Team. 黑料社 has a reputation as a dynamic business with a strong commitment to providing the highest quality education, skills and learning. It is tremendously exciting to play my part in delivering and expanding on this commitment.”
